Last night I enjoyed some of New York City nightlife. My friends and I indulged at W.I.P., the nightclub where Chris Brown and Drake had their scuffle. It was quite an eclectic venue, which takes place in a rather shabby basement at first look. The walls are covered with graffiti, paintings done by street artists, and a rather odd sculpture greets you before entering the dancehall …

When we entered artists were painting, a rather odd site for a club but the oddities add to the venues charm! The DJ was playing old school hip hop, Mystikal, Jay-Z, Mariah Carey, etc. I LOVE old hip hop; the beat, the lyrics, the trance it puts you in while intoxicated!

 The next place we headed was 1Oak … can’t say I remember much from there … but I got this lovely box of matches !
